Faculty of Law Re-enrolment 2009

All Law students, including double degree Law students, MUST re-enrol via WES for the 2009 academic year (Sem 1 and Sem 2 ) between 13 October and 24 November 2008.

YOU MUST ENROL FOR BOTH SEMESTER 1 AND SEMESTER 2, 2009.

If you are currently enrolled in a concurrent degree program you must re-enrol seperately for each course, according to each faculty's re-enrolment dates.

LATE ENROLMENT- If you have not re-enrolled by  24 November you may do so between the 25 November to 22 December 2008 but a $110.00 late fee will be applied.  If you do not re-enrol within this period you risk losing your place.

VERY LATE RE-ENROLMENT-  If you have not re-enrolled by  22 December 2008 you need to submit a Reinstatement of Enrolment Request.  The Faculty will determine if there are any places still available for you to enrol in 2009.  If you are permitted to re-enrol you will incur an late fee of $110.00 . 

Changes to Enrolment

Please note that you will not be able to vary your enrolment from  23 December 2008 to 11 January 2009. Go to Changes to Enrolment for further information and related dates.

NB Undergraduate semester 2 results will be published on 28 November 2008. If you find that you have failed to meet the pre-requisiste conditions for your 2009 units or course after results publications, you must amend your enrolment accordingly.

Course Advice

General course advice is available to all Law students. Do not forget to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A COURSE ADVISOR!

Intermission

Students who have been granted intermission MUST re-enrol during the re-enrolment period.

Currently enrolled students wishing to take intermission from their studies in 2009 should apply  by  22 December 2008.

International Students - Important

In accordance with the  ESOS Act 2000, International students MUST be enrolled in a minimum of 24 points of units in each semester.  If you do not enrol in 24 credit points in both semester one and semester two you may be in breach of your student visa requirements and may be reported to DIMA.   

If you are considering enrolling in less than 24 credit points in a semester then you must first submit an Application to Underload form

Timetable

The 2009 timetable will be available on the faculty website from early October 2008.
