Professional Profile

Rebecca’s expertise spans both information technology and law. Before utilising her first class honours degree in law to work as a lawyer in public and then private practice, she worked as a technology consultant for a number of top organisations in Europe and Australia.

Her doctoral thesis, The Code/Law Collision, considered the way in which P2P providers have attempted to manipulate software to effectively code their way out of liability for their users’ copyright infringements.
