Senior Lecturer Professional ProfileJanice Richardson started out as a solicitor, litigating on behalf of trade unions, before becoming an academic. The switch in 1993 reflected a growing interest in legal theory whilst gaining an LLM in Labour Law. She has an MA in Continental Philosophy (dist.) and PhD from the University of Warwick. She joined the University of Exeter School of Law in 2006 from the University of Leicester. Janice comes with considerable experience as a teacher, dating from 1993. She teaches in torts, employment law, law and political theory, feminist legal philosophy, theoretical issues in legal research and approaches to research.
