Professional Profile

Dr Paterson worked as a solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques in the area of Banking and Finance Law before taking a position as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law Monash University. Her teaching and research interests are in Contract, Consumer and Credit Law.  Dr Paterson is co-author of Principles of Contract Law (2nd ed, 2005) and Contract: Cases and Materials (10th ed, 2005).
