Professional Profile

Associate Professor Judd Epstein has taught at Monash since 1972. He teaches in the areas of Civil Procedure, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Comparative Law and International Commercial Arbitration. He is active in Law Reform, in promoting road safety through law, and in shaping the Faculty’s development as a fully international law school. His teaching philosophy endorses active participation and assessment through diverse means allowing each student to demonstrate his/her achievements.

Judd has authored or co-authored six books and reports, ten chapters in books or reports, some 40 articles and conference papers. He researches mainly in comparative law, dispute resolution and road safety.
