Professional Profile

Jonathan Clough is an Associate Professor and Director, International in the Law Faculty.  He is a graduate of Monash University with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours.  After completing his Articles of Clerkship with Mallesons Stephen Jaques, he was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of  Victoria and the High Court of Australia.  He received a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Cambridge Australia (LLM) Scholarship to study for the degree of Master of Laws at the University of Cambridge.  He returned to Mallesons before taking  up a position with the Law Faculty in 1995.  In 2004 he was awarded the degree of PhD from Monash. 

Jonathan teaches and researches in the areas of criminal law and evidence, with a particular focus on corporate and electronic crime.  He is the co-author of The Prosecution of Corporations, OUP (2002) and is currently writing Principles of Cybercrime for Cambridge University Press.
