Professional Profile

Elizabeth Boros was appointed Sir Keith Aickin Chair of Company Law at Monash University in 2000, having formerly worked at The University of Melbourne, and as a senior associate in the Melbourne offices of Blake Dawson Waldron.

Elizabeth graduated from Adelaide University with a first class honours degree in law in 1986.  She gained her LLM and PhD degrees from Cambridge University (in 1989 and 1992), and her PhD thesis on Minority Shareholders' Remedies was published as a book by Oxford University Press.  Elizabeth is a member of the Legal Committee of the Corporations and Markets Advisory Committee (CAMAC), and of the Corporations and E-Commerce committees of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.

She has formerly held positions as a director of ASX Supervisory Review Pty Limited, an External Specialist Adviser to the London School of Economics and Political Science, and chair of the Law Council’s E-commerce Committee.
