The best annual research publication published by a Monash law student is recognised through the Student’s Publication Prize.
Student eligibility
At the time of the publication, an eligible student must have:
- been enrolled in any degree program offered in the Faculty of Law, Monash University; and
- undertaken the research toward the publication as part of that program.
Publication eligibility
The publication must
- meet the criteria for 'research' as defined by the Commonwealth Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR);
- be published in one of the DIISR categories of publications: book (A1), book chapter (B1), fully refereed journal article (C1) and fully refereed conference publication (E1);
- be included in the Faculty’s annual Research Publication Collection for the appropriate year.

Deadlines
30 June 2012 is the closing date for publications published in 2011.
