Professor Harri Kalimo

Professor Dr. Harri Kalimo is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for European Studies responsible for internal market related questions.  He holds professorships at the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economic, Political and Social Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.  He is also a Visiting Fellow at Yale University and an Associate Professor at the Turku School of Economics.

Professor Kalimo lectures currently on general European Union Law, Environmental law and Policy and on the Eruopean Union and its economic stakeholders.  His major work is "E-CYCLING- Linking trade and environmental law in the EC and the U.S.". Kalimo has LL.D., LL.M. and M.Sc (Econ.) degrees, and has academic experience from visiting positions in e.g., the Harvard Law School, Institut d'Etudes Europeennes (Universite Libre de Bruxelles), and New York University School of Law.  He has also held different non-academic posts in Nokia Corporation between 19094-2004.
