Ms Joanna Betteridge

Joanna Betteridge, principal of Betteridge Legal Consulting, is an employment and occupational health and safety legal consultant and accredited mediator. Joanna commenced her legal consultancy and mediation practice in 2004 after 20 years in private legal practice, the last 11 years as a partner at Maddocks. Joanna holds a Master of Laws with a focus on labour law and has practised for many years advising employers on employment law and occupational health and safety risk management including contracts and terminations, discrimination, bullying and harassment, workplace injury management and dispute resolution. She is a member of the advisory panel for Monash Law School’s workplace and employment law postgraduate specialisation and a member of the OHS and Risk Management Committee for the Australian Human Resources Institute. Joanna sits on the boards of Austin Health and Melbourne Citymission.
