Mr Chris Doidge

Chris Doidge is a barrister, practising in intellectual property and commercial law. Prior to joining the Bar, Chris practised as a microbiologist, project leader, and manager for more than 25 years at Australia's premier pharmaceutical industry participant, CSL. During this time Chris's scientific work was recognised in peer reviewed publications, through a successfully licensed intellectual property portfolio, and by a young Tall Poppy Award from the AIPS. Chris has a B.Sc. from the University of Melbourne, a Masters Degree in Biotechnology from Monash University, an MBA from Deakin/APESMA and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne. Since coming to the bar Chris has been developing a specialist practice in intellectual property focused particularly on patent, trademark and designs law.
