Domestic applicants

Domestic applicants (Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents ) applying for Monash postgraduate law programs must submit an application along with appropriate supporting documentation.

Applicants are not required to submit academic transcripts for courses previously  undertaken at Monash University, but should instead provide their Monash student number.

Applicants will be notified of an outcome to their application, within two weeks of submission of a completed application.

Domestic applications for the following:

postgraduate law program/s:

  • Masters programs for law graduates
  • Masters programs for non-law graduates
  • Graduate diplomas for law and non-law graduates

must submit either an on-line application or hard copy application, with the relevant supporting documentation.

postgraduate single unit enrolment or graduate certificate:

  • Single unit enrolment (assessed)
  • Single unit enrolment (non-assessed)
  • Cross-Institutional enrolment
  • Single Monash JD unit enrolment (for overseas practitioners - COLE requirement)
  • Graduate Certificate in Forensic Studies (Accounting)

must submit one of the following application forms and provide all the relevant supporting documentation;

Alternatively applicants can come by reception at the Monash University Law Chambers with original supporting documents (eg. academic transcripts, passport, visa, birth certificate etc.) for us to sight and take copies of.
