Professional training for article clerks/young lawyers

Monash Law School has been conducting professional development programs for article clerks to further enhance their articles experience for over four years.

The Council of Legal Education and the Attorney General’s office are currently undertaking independent reviews of the articles process in Victoria. Although their findings are yet to be released, these reviews may result in article clerks being required to undertake addition training with a recognised educational provider outside the traditional articles experience.

Monash Law’s current programs are designed specifically for article clerks and solicitors in practice to develop further skills in areas that may not be adequately dealt with during articles.

We can work with your organisation to develop tailored programs to suit your specific needs, which may include units taught online or face-to-face practical skills training. Should you be interested in working with Monash Law to establish a program tailored to your needs, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
