"Research in Trafficking of Persons"

This is a free public lecture held as part of Monash Research Month. Trafficking in persons has been described as modern day slavery. On Monday 20 August, established researchers in trafficking issues will outline their experiences in researching this problem in South East Asia. Lawrie McCredie Gala Dinner
Between 1966 and 1999, Lawrie McCredie served the Faculty of Law at Monash University. To honour his work the Law School is establishing the Professor Lawrie McCredie Student Support Program. In appreciation of Lawrie’s work, and in order to acknowledge his dedication to generations of students, the Faculty of Law will be holding a fundraising dinner in his honour on Wednesday, 20 June 2007. Monash Law student wins prestigious Corrs Prize

A Monash Law student has been presented as winner of the 2006 Corrs Prize essay competition.

Developments in Venture Capital Structures and Incentive Schemes

Tuesday 6 February 2007. Monash University, in conjuction with Blake Dawson Waldron, will be hosting two world leading experts on venture capital structures for an indepth presentation on global developments and the major changes to the Australian tax incentives set to commence in 2007. This free presentation is to be held at Blake Dawson Waldron, Level 39, 101 Collins St, Melbourne.
