2004 Annual Dinner

The 2004 Annual Monash University Law Review Dinner was held at Sarti Restaurant in the city on 20 October 2004 to celebrate the launch of Volume 30 of the Monash University Law Review.

Guest speaker, Julian Burnside QC gave a passionate address about the recent Federal election, current political trends and the present living conditions of refugees who are held in Australia’s prisons.

Other speakers included Peter Heffey, Faculty Advisor to the Monash Law Review and Editors Helena Konstantopoulos and Jaclyn Grant (pictured right).

The dinner highlighted the achievements of the year and celebrated Volume 30 of this annual publication which provides a tremendous opportunity for the student editorial team.

Past editors include many leading members of academia and the legal profession today.
