Dr. Yoram Margalioth

Research Interests:

Tax Law. Tax Policy. Welfare and Social Policy. Employee Benefits. Pension Law.

Yoram Margalioth teaches tax law, tax policy course and workshop, tax, welfare and economic growth seminar, and is the academic supervisor of the micro-business and social justice clinical law program. Studied law at the Hebrew University; clerked for Supreme Court Justice S. Nethanyahu; worked as a state tax attorney representing the government in tax cases before the Supreme Court; did an LL.M. (in taxation) and J.S.D. at N.Y.U. Prior to joining Tel Aviv law faculty, was a faculty member at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya; visited N.Y.U.; and served for a year as deputy director of the international tax program at Harvard law school.
