Fees, Funding and Financial AssistanceFeesAdministration Fee:Prato - AUD$300.00 Monash students will be requested to pay this fee at the time of enrolment in early 2010 Partner University students will pay this fee when requested by their administration officer at their home university. Tuition Fees:Monash University students will be charged either full-fee or CSP according to their verified funding status. This applies to core and elective units. Funding - (Monash Students Only)Monash Abroad Funding:Most Monash students who participate in short term international study programs receive Monash Abroad travel grants from the University. Many are also eligible for a range of other loans, scholarships and grants. For further information please see the Monash Abroad website - Financial Information for Short Term Programs. Monash Abroad will directly deposit the money into your bank account within a month of the program start date. Law Mobility Equity Grants:Law Mobility Equity Bursaries are available to eligible Monash students. W.J. & G.M. Goldsack ScholarshipA Scholarship has been created to provide financial assistance to Monash students who wish to undertake the study of Trial Practice and Advocacy at Prato. To apply for the Scholarship, complete the application form and return it to the International Programs Officer, Student Services by Monday 15 February, 2010. Financial Assistance (Monash Students Only)University Financial AidThe university will loan students up to $3000.00 through Financial Aid. The loan must be paid back by the time you graduate and carries no interest for the first 12 months. Contact Health, Wellbeing and Development Student Financial Aid Service on (03) 9905 3156 for further information and to arrange an appointment OS-HELP Loan:You may also wish to use OS-HELP introduced by the government, where you may be eligible for financial assistance in the form of a loan towards your Law overseas study program. Please ensure you meet all the eligibility requirements including the conditions of the loan as outlined in the OS-HELP Brochure on this website before applying. Centrelink Letters:
The program is considered a Monash University course and therefore full time students may continue to receive payments. A Law overseas study program enrolment verification letter can be requested either via the telephone 9902 6011 or over the counter at the Student Services Office, Building 10, Clayton campus. |
