Postgraduate Coursework Student Elections 2011

NOTICE OF ELECTION FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS ON COMMITTEES

1.         Law Faculty Board - election

 One (1) postgraduate student member.

Term of Office: one year from the date of the last meeting of the year of the Board (from 1 November 2010 - 31 October 2011).

 As at close of nominations, the following postgraduate students lodged a valid nomination form for membership of the Law Faculty Board:

 HILL, Anthony

MAGINNES, Jane

MALIK, Sana

VARMA, Sandeep

  2.         Postgraduate Studies Committee - election

 One (1) postgraduate student member

Term of Office: 1 January – 31 December 2011

 As at close of nominations, the following postgraduate students lodged a valid nomination forms for membership of the Postgraduate Studies Committee:

 MAGINNES, Jane

MALIK, Sana

VARMA, Sandeep

 As the number of nominations exceeded the number of vacancies for both of the above committees, an election will be held from Monday 4 October until Friday 8 October (see details below).

  3.         Equity and Diversity Committee – position filled

 One (1) postgraduate student member

Term of Office: 1 January – 31 December 2011

 As at close of nominations, the following postgraduate students lodged valid nominations forms for membership of the Equity and Diversity Committee:

 MALIK, Sana

VARMA, Sandeep

  As the number of nominations exceeded the number of vacancies for both of the above committees, an election will be held from Monday 4 October until Friday 8 October (see details below).

 4.         Personal Statements from Candidates

 Copies of personal statements will also be available at the polling place for the duration of the election.

 6.         Eligibility to Vote

 Voters must be currently enrolled postgraduate coursework students of the Faculty of Law

7.         Instructions

 Ballot papers must be completed at either the Clayton or City polling place.

Voters are asked to show their Monash student ID card at either of the polling places.
