The information below is a selection of the faculty specific examination information. You will find the complete university information on the homepage of
Monash University Examinations.
Timetable
The timetable for your examination will be released six weeks before each examination period begins. You can find the details in the current Examination Timetable. Your examination timetable is not accessable via WES.
Clash
A clash examination occurs when you have two or more examinations scheduled at the same time or scheduled in different locations with minimal time for transportation. If you have a clash examination you will undertake both examinations in the City Campus under special arrangements. This means that you will sit both examinations on the same day, but you will be required to stay in the venue under supervision over the lunch-time break. You must notify the Program Coordinator at least three weeks before the date you are expecting a clash examination. The Program Coordinator will inform you one week before the clash examination of your arrangements.
Alternative Assessment Arrangements
To be eligible to sit an examination under alternative arrangements, you must be assessed by the
Disability Liaison Unit. If you have approved alternative assessment arrangements, you must contact the Program Coordinator three weeks before each examination period in order for your arrangements to be prepared. You should confirm your arrangements with the Program coordinator one week before the examination period.
Format
Any questions regarding the format of examinations, such as what materials you are allowed to bring to an examination, or the type of examination should be directed to your lecturer.
Seating
Examinations held at the City or Clayton campus for JD units do not have allocated seating.
Special Consideration
You may apply for special consideration if your work has been affected by serious illness or other serious cause.
