All Law students, including double degree Law students, MUST re-enrol via WES for the 2012 academic year (eg, Sem 1 and Sem 2) between 10 October and 21 November 2011.
If you are currently enrolled in a concurrent degree program you must re-enrol separately for each course, according to each faculty's re-enrolment dates.
To re-enrol, select your units by referring to the 2012 timetables below.
If you have not re-enrolled by 21 November 2011 you may do so between the 22 November to 16 December 2011 but a $281 late fee will be applied. If you do not re-enrol within this period you risk losing your place.
If you have not re-enrolled by 16 December 2011 you need to submit a Reinstatement of Enrolment Request. The Faculty will determine if there are any places still available for you to enrol in 2012. If you are permitted to re-enrol you will incur a late fee of $281.
For more information, see miscellaneous fees.
Please note that you will not be able to vary your enrolment from 16 December 2011 to 5 January 2012. Go to Changes to Enrolment for further information and related dates.
Note: If you find that you have failed to meet the pre-requisite conditions for your 2012 units or course after results publications, you must amend your enrolment accordingly. Undergraduate results for Semester 2, 2011 are published on 5 December 2011.
General course advice is available to all Law students. Do not forget to make an appointment with a course advisor.
Postgraduate students seeking course advice are to email law-postgraduate@monash.edu for an appointment.
Students who have been granted intermission MUST re-enrol during the re-enrolment period.
Students enrolled in 2012 units wishing to take intermission from their studies in 2012 should apply prior to the census date in the semester or teaching period of application to be eligible for a refund of tuition fees.
In accordance with the ESOS Act 2000, international students MUST be enrolled in a minimum of 24 points of units in each semester or teaching period. If you do not enrol in 24 credit points in both semester one and semester two or equivalent teaching period, you may be in breach of your student visa requirements and may be reported to DIMA.
If you are considering enrolling in less than 24 credit points in a semester or equivalent teaching period then you must first submit an Application to Underload form.
