Cross-Institutional Study for Undergraduate StudentsWhat is Cross-Institutional Study?Cross Institutional enrolment is where a student from another university in Australia or New Zealand undertakes a single unit or units on a non-award basis at Monash for credit in their current course. Who can apply?Students currently enrolled in a degree at another tertiary institution within Australia or New Zealand.
EligibilityApplicants must be:
The parent university must have consented and have approved the units which the applicant proposes to undertake at Monash. It is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain such consent and approval.
How it is credited towards your parent university degree?Contact student services to obtain an official academic transcript for submitting to your current university.
How to apply?You must complete a Cross-Institutional application form and submit with all required documentation addressing the eligibility criteria.
NB Students who discontinue their enrolment must do so with both the host and parent universities in time to avoid financial and academic penalties
FeesStudents will be charged either full-fee or CSP according to the verified funding status at their home institution. This applies to core and elective units. Please see the Fees web site for details.
