We make submissions and compile reports for domestic and international bodies on human rights issues. We regularly submit papers to state and federal parliamentary committees highlighting the adverse effects of laws on human rights, and suggest ways governments can change these laws to conform with human rights. Through these submissions, the Centre directly influences policy and legislative development, ensuring that human rights issues are considered in domestic and international decision-making.
