The code seeks to establish a set of minimum standards that should be included in all codes of conduct addressing labour practices. Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are included. The code provides that implementation must extend to the company’s contractors, subcontractors, principal suppliers and licensees. The company must establish a procedure to resolve questions about the code’s meaning and its implications. http://www.itcilo.it/actrav/actrav-english/telearn/global/ilo/guide/icftuco.htm International Federation of Building and Wood Workers (IFBWW) Code of Conduct Regarding the Rights of WorkersThis code forms part of a model framework agreement between the IFBWW and companies to promote and protect workers’ rights. |
