Castan Centre Global Internship Program

The Global Internship Program, now in its seventh year, aims to nurture the human rights leaders of tomorrow by giving them the opportunity to volunteer at some of the world's leading human rights organisations. The Program provides significant funding to each Intern to ensure equitable access to the program.

Global Interns are provided with financial assistance by Daniel and Danielle Besen, Sylvia & Michael Kantor, the Dara Foundation, the Nordia Foundation, the Finkel Foundation, the Monash Law Faculty's Student Mobility Fund, the Monash University Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) and MyriaD Consultants, which conducts the cross-cultural training.

Other internship opportunities

The Global Internship Program is not the only way to get funding to volunteer overseas. Monash Law students can apply for Student Mobility Fund money for internships that they have arranged themselves. The Student Mobility Fund also supports other Law Faculty internships. Non Monash University students can refer to other internship opportunities at our Other Human Rights Events and Opportunities page.
