Project officer - Andre Dao

Andre is a recent graduate of the Melbourne Law School and is also the Editor-in-Chief of Right Now, a human rights media organisation. As Project Officer he facilitates the Centre's student programs, including the Global Internship Program, in-house intern program, the Human Rights Essay Competition and Human Rights Mooting Competition. He is currently completing the Honours year of his Arts degree, majoring in English Literature. His thesis will explore the intersection between law and literature in E. L. Doctorow's The Book of Daniel. His fiction and non-fiction has been published in Harvest Magazine, The Conversation, Voiceworks, Farrago, Finch Publishing's Out of the Frying Pan anthology and Wakefield Press' No Place Like Home anthology.
