Professional Profile

Prior to joining the Law Faculty in 1996, Melissa was the Legal Manager at CSIRO. She has completed a Masters of Law on the nature of moral rights (1997) and a PhD on the intersection of copyright and contract in the digital environment (2006). Melissa developed the online subject Law of the Internet, as well as the graduate subjects Technology Contracts and Licensing Law and The Internet and Intellectual Property, and has been involved in teaching e-commerce subjects in Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore. Melissa teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
